Taking inspiration from the heritage of African-American work song, Charles Tindley_x0019_ s _x001C_ Stand by Me,_x001D_ and the Spiritual _x001C_ Soon-a Will Be Done,_x001D_ Stephen Lee has created an stirring musical statement of faith rooted in the traditions of the African-American Spiritual. It is scored for a baritone soloist accompanied by an a cappella SATB choir.
