We Thank You, Lord

Set to the well-known tune O WALY WALY, this original text by Remi Fonesca Bauer is gratifying and inspirational, with themes of thankfulness, creation, and social concern. There are many ways this short hymn (with four verses) can be used _x0013_ sung before a meal, as a Hymn of Praise after Communion, or as a Sending Forth song with its final verse calling us to do good works in God_x0019_ s name. Paired with a flowing musical setting, arranged by Dr. Randall DeBruyn for SATB Choir, keyboard, guitar and solo C instrument, it is easily sung by choir and assembly.
