Written in 1979 by Carlos Rosas (1939_x0013_ 2020), a pioneer of and expert in Hispanic liturgical music, this beloved song to Our Lady of Guadalupe now has a new English translation by Pedro Rubalcava. Many English-speaking communities want to celebrate the Virgin of Tepeyac, Patroness of the Americas, and this song provides a traditional sounding, yet accessible way for them to do that. The octavo presents a new arrangement_x0014_ mostly written by Rosas himself, including parts for violin and trumpet_x0014_ and a simple three-part harmony for the choir, accompanied by keyboard and guitar.
Instrumentation: Keyboard, Guitar, Violin 2-Part, and Trumpet 2-Part
