Presenting two versions of the verbatim response for Psalm 23, this liturgically versatile setting for SAB choir can be used throughout the Church year. The simple response melody_x0014_ with a flowing, pastoral accompaniment for keyboard and guitar_x0014_ will be easily learned by the assembly. Each verse, for cantor alone, begins freely chanted but transitions to a metered setting for the closing sentence (or clause) and turnaround, which neatly sets up the assembly response.
