On Christmas Night

Set in a flowing 3/2, this elegant hymn-like song will enhance any Christmas liturgy. Modal coloration in the verse melody foreshadows a third verse set in the parallel minor. Two presentations of the song are included in this octavo: a concertato arrangement for SATB choir, organ, and violin (with an optional string quartet accompaniment available as a separate download) and a simpler unison version without introduction or interludes.
