O God of Past and Present

The composer has created a lyric and dance-like tune while maintaining an appropriate sense of reverence for Sister Genevieve Glen's text. Ideal for use as a sending forth song, this piece is almost completely in triple meter and revels in added second chords and rocking syncopations in the accompaniment. A fully developed SATB choral setting pairs wonderfully with the organ accompaniment.
