Mercy on Me

Sarah Hart wrote _x001C_ Mercy on Me_x001D_ to create a singable chorus, something simple and memorable, and yet something that was a moving lyric. The hope was that it would be easy to do for a reconciliation service, to the point that people could pray the words, rather than having to rely heavily on the printed word. It is filled out with voicing for three parts and sits in a comfortable range for contemporary ensembles.
