Litany for the Earth

_x001C_ Litany for the Earth_x001D_ is written as a dialogue in which a Cantor voices invocations based on _x001C_ A Prayer for Our Earth_x001D_ from the papal encyclical Laudato Si_x0019_ !, and the Assembly responds _x001C_ Pour out your mercy, pour out your love!_x001D_ and _x001C_ Heal our common home!_x001D_ This easy-to-learn litany would be appropriate at any liturgy celebrating the gift of creation and our responsibility to be good stewards of the earth. Simple SATB choir parts and a Solo Instrument will further enhance the gentle, haunting melody.
