In the Bleak Midwinter

Not to be confused with the well-known Christmas carol, this is an entirely new musical setting of Christina Rossetti_x0019_ s lyrics. This lovely choral anthem is scored for SATB chorus with descant, keyboard, and flute (whose part is written into the choral score; an individual part is available as a separate download). Its textures shift and change beautifully over its five verses. It will make an ideal addition to your Advent worship, especially ceremonies of lessons and carols.
