Hosanna to the Son/Six Days before the Passover

This octavo features two great pieces specifically for Palm Sunday. The first piece, for the processional, is sung in a call-and-response form and utilizes official text from The Roman Missal. The second piece, for the simple entrance, employs a refrain based on the call-and-response of the first piece, utilizing the text based on the Entrance Antiphon for Palm Sunday. Both pieces are scored for SAB choir, keyboard, guitar, and trumpet in B-flat. The guitar and trumpet can easily travel with the procession when it begins outside the church; upon the arrival of the assembly in the church, the piano or organ may then join in.
