Holy Gifts

Since the fourth century, eastern liturgies have contained the words Sancta sanctis, _x001C_ holy things for holy people,_x001D_ as the sacrament is shown to the people immediately before Communion. Translated as _x001C_ The gifts of God for the people of God,_x001D_ it is also found in the Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America. This processional chant for Communion is set for SATB choir, descant, keyboard and guitar.
