This assembly song for the season of Christmas, accompanied by keyboard and guitar and reinforced by SATB choir, places emphasis on the humanity of Jesus, based on the words of John 1:14: _x001C_ The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us._x001D_ Its lilting, lullaby-like 6/8 meter and the uncomplicated C-major tonality (devoid of any chromaticism) underscore the humble, simple setting of the nativity.
