Compassion Walks the City Street

Using Psalm 107 as a starting point for the lyrics, Glen has taken the image of Christ the Good Shepherd and distilled it to a central characteristic: compassion, which is recognizable in any setting, rural, urban, or suburban. Inspired by these themes of social justice, Wedgewood has crafted a beautiful flowing melody in triple meter, set in various choral textures over each of the five verses, including an optional a cappella setting of Verse 4.
