Child of God's Great Love

_x001C_ Child of God_x0019_ s Great Love_x001D_ is an adaptation of the beautiful Christmas hymn _x001C_ Of the Father_x0019_ s Love Begotten,_x001D_ which has its origin in the 13th-century Gregorian chant Divinum Mysterium. It functions well as a prelude piece, as a thanksgiving hymn after communion, or as a closing song. It can be sung in an intimate manner with simple guitar accompaniment or in a more grand way with pipe organ and string ensemble. With its recognizable melody, the assembly will be sure to join in the singing.
