Can we go beyond simply _x001C_ raising our hands_x001D_ and _x001C_ shouting God_x0019_ s name_x001D_ to live a Christian life of love and service to God? This is the question posed by this compelling contemporary song. Written in a straightforward 6/8 meter, with syncopations that intuitively set the text and a predictable harmonic scheme, this piece is scored for SATB choir and a countermelodic voice. Although usable in many liturgical contexts, this piece is especially well-suited for penitential seasons such as Lent.
