Benedictus/Magnificat

This song was written from a desire to create a piece that captured the spirit of daily liturgical prayer beginning (Benedictus) and ending (Magnificat) the day with the same melody. The _x001C_ Magnificat_x001D_ is also very useful for adoration, parish meetings and gatherings, and to connect our hearts to the rhythm of the prayer of the Church. The _x001C_ Magnificat_x001D_ can be sung gently and prayerfully but it can also be done like the _x001C_ Benedictus,_x001D_ more majestically and powerfully. A collaborative effort by Steve Angrisano and Curtis Stephan, this octavo includes a simple yet harmonically rich SAB choral arrangement written by Rick Modlin.
