Dan Schutte

Dan Schutte is one of the best-known writers of Catholic liturgical music in the English-speaking world. His beloved songs are modern classics for the contemporary Catholic Church, including “You Are Near,” “Here I am, Lord” and “These Alone Are Enough.” Schutte is currently composer-in-residence at the Jesuit University of San Francisco. He is known for being a member of the St. Louis Jesuits and has been awarded four honorary doctoral degrees for his contribution to the life of the Church.
